In an on-air interview with KHTS on Wednesday, Assemblywoman Suzette Valladares (R-Santa Clarita) revealed how the Problem Solvers Caucus is tackling some of California’s greatest issues including energy needs, climate change and health care.
Affiliated with the Problem Solvers Caucus, a bipartisan group in the United States House of Representatives that intends to foster bipartisan cooperation, Valladares shared her progress in creating policies that she is expected to present in Sacramento this January.
“Partisanship gets in the way of legislation too often,” Valladares said during the on-air interview. “Our object is not necessarily to kill bad policy, although that would be nice, but to create good policy. Policy that makes sense to California.”
